89.7 WSHC Radio is Shepherd University’s student-driven public radio station, providing original campus content, student programs, and NPR broadcasts through a partnership with WV Public Radio. As a co-curricular activity funded by the Student Government Association, underwriting, and donations, WSHC gives students hands-on experience in radio production, news, music, and sports broadcasting. Serving the campus and surrounding community since 1974, WSHC is dedicated to amplifying student voices and enriching the Shepherd experience.
